Feng Shui is known as "Kan-Yu" which means "The Law of Heaven and Earth." It is an ancient Chinese practice of placement and arrangement of space to achieve harmony with the environment. This is a discipline with guidelines that are compatible with many techniques of agricultural planning as well as internal furniture arrangements.
Feng Shui Elements - Follow the Bagua Just One Feng Shui Element Can Enhance Any Room If you want to use Feng Shui elements in your space to enhance or adjust the energy, first follow the bagua . Each area of the bagua corresponds to a specific element in Feng Shui. The five elements are earth, water, fire, wood and metal. Each element corresponds to a symbol and color too. The color of water is black. The color of wood is green, metal has the color white, fire is red, and earth is yellow. Do not confuse the colors of the elements with the colors of each area of the bagua. The areas of the bagua that correspond to each element are, career - water, knowledge - wood, helpful people - metal, health - earth, partnership - earth, children & creativity - metal, family - wood, wealth - wood, and fame and reputation - fire. The symbols of the elements are water - wavy lines like the flow of water, wood - columns like two trees, metal - round or oval with no sharp corners, earth - square, and fire is a triangle. If you are trying to decide which of the three things to use when wanting an enhancement, this is the guideline you should follow. 1.
