First-class compactness in the industry It can be installed in a false ceiling or under the floor. Dehumidifies The heat exchange element uses a High Efficiency Paper that has superior moisture-absorption and humidifying properties.
Panasonic Fans - Bathroom exhaust and ventilation. bathroom exhaust fans, ceiling fan light combinations, bathroom heater/light exhaust fans, through the wall exhaust fans, inline exhaust fans, dampers and accessories.
Checking Your Ventilation System By Michael McCann, Ph. D. , C. I. H. In the last issue of Art Hazards News, I wrote an article, "Industrial Ventilation for a New Art Building", which discussed types of ventilation, choosing a ventilation engineer, planning your ventilation system, and important design factors.

Over the last 6-7 years we have evolved into the largest supplier of commercial and Industrial Flue and Exhaust Systems throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland.
Summary Today's energy efficient homes do a great job of keeping conditioned air in. But, the downside of a well air sealed and insulated home is that reduced stale air exhaust and air exchange with the outside can result in poor indoor air quality which may lead to occupant health and structure durability problems.
Nautilus Radial Exhaust Ventilation The Nautilus Radial Exhaust Ventilation System, an exclusive technology from Kraft Energy™, is a high-performance exhaust ventilator. It is used in large curing areas or in conjunction with the GFK Duct system, when many chambers must be exhausted independently.
Exhaust ventilation systems are most applicable in cold climates. In climates with warm humid summers, depressurization can draw moist air into building wall cavities, where it may condense and cause moisture damage.

The manufacturer has combined its humidity-sensing technology with its ultra-silent fans to create an integrated ventilation system. Once there is a rapid rise in humidity within the room, the fan, operating at 0.3 and 0.9 sone, will automatically turn on to exhaust excess moisture and turn off when it's finished, the maker says. 800-558-1711.
Local exhaust ventilation is clearly the preferred method whenever feasible! In addition, local exhaust ventilation moves a much smaller quanitity of air much more efficiently - this results in large savings in heating and cooling costs.
Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) System Surveys & Upgrades We are able to offer assistance to clients in the meeting of their obligations under COSHH or similar safety Regulations. The COSHH regulations require that clients arrange for the carrying out of 14 monthly examination & test of all LEV systems.

Printable Version Whole-House Exhaust Ventilation Systems Exhaust ventilation systems work by depressurizing the building. By reducing the inside air pressure below the outdoor air pressure, they extract indoor air from a house while make-up air infiltrates through leaks in the building shell and through intentional, passive vents.
Ask the experts | Solutions | Case studies | Tips | Green building videos Whole House Ventilation Systems Today's emphasis on tightly-sealed, well-insulated houses has created a need for active ventilation systems that bring measured quantities of fresh air into a home, to counter the buildup of stale air. Why Ventilate? Why is ventilation more important today than ever before?
OSHA Compliance Solutions At IAS, our indoor air quality specialists can assist you in designing the ideal fume extraction system for effective reduction of hexavalent chromium emissions to achieve OSHA compliance, without compromising workflow ergonomics and productivity. We offer a full array of local exhaust ventilation systems for source capture of hexavalent chromium fumes — downdraft tables and benches, Downflo cartridge collectors, fume hoods, flexible ducts and hoses, gas wet scrubbers, chrome scrubbers and more.
Local Exhaust Ventilation Testing Local Exhaust Ventilation is used in many areas from industrial premises through to research laboratories to protect the health of individuals working with hazardous materials. These Local Exhaust Ventilation systems must be maintained in a good working condition in order to effectively remove pollutants from the workplace and dispose of them in a safe manner. The current legislation (COSHH Regulation 9, ‘Maintenance, examination and testing of control measures’) requires that Local Exhaust Ventilation systems are well maintained, thoroughly examined and tested at regular intervals. The thorough testing and examination of LEV plants must be carried out at least every 14 months or more frequently for specific processes. Clearwater qualified engineers follow the guidance given in HSE publication ‘Maintenance, examination and testing of local exhaust ventilation’ (HSG 54). A variety of test methods and equipment are used. These include vane and hot wire anemometers, pitot tubes and smoke visualisation tubes. The test results are compared to original design specifications (where available) and guidance given in HSE publication ‘An introduction to local exhaust ventilation’ (HSG 37). The findings are presented in Clearwater ’s own COSHH compliant test certificate for each system, with a summary detailing and prioritising any remedial works or performance improvements that are required. Records of the examination and testing must be kept for a period of not less than 5 years.
Our exhaust fans have quality aesthetics, rugged construction and standard features including external disconnect switches, quick release latches and variable pitch motor pulleys with FACTORY ASSEMBLED AND TESTED MOTOR AND DRIVES. Ventilation Direct offers direct fired, indirect fired and electric heaters at competitive prices with the shortest lead times in the industry.

The University of Quebec at Montreal (UQAM) installed Tri-Stack fume exhaust ventilation systems in its new ten-story, 400,000 sq.ft. laboratory building for its Science Campus.
Industrial Air Ventilation involves the use of a clean air supply and an exhaust ventilation system to control emissions, airborne particulate exposure and chemical hazards. Ventilation Systems are beneficial in confined spaces and facilities with inefficient ventilation equipment.
Air Tightness One way to express the air tightness of a house is air changes per hour, which is the number of times the amount of air inside the house changes in one hour. The air leakage in a house is usually measured with a blower door.
Dust Extraction - Fume Extraction - Local Exhaust Ventilation - Pollution Control Equipment LEV-CO's local dust extraction and exhaust ventilation systems are a perfect solution as employee exposure to contaminants is minimized and the contaminant itself can be collected for either recovery or safe disposal. There are also the repair and maintenance savings to be realized, as the heat and corrosive substances responsible for damaging equipment are negated.
• Prevent re-entrainment– Tri-Stack™ fume exhaust systems send a vertical “jet plume” of diluted exhaust gas up to 350’ high, providing atmospheric disbursement and preventing exhaust from re-entering the facility through fresh air supply ventilation systems, doors, and windows. • Eliminate odor– The dilution capabilities of Tri-Stack exhaust fans (up to 170% of free outside air is introduced into the airstream above the roof), effectively eliminate odors, preventing them from entering the facility and neighboring buildings.
